Cancellation Policy
Due to the nature of the program, many non-refundable expenses related to travel are paid immediately after the students register for a GIE. Additionally, many costs have a component which are attributable to the entire group and therefore cannot be identified as incurred by any one student. As a result, all students must, as a condition of registration for a GIE course, sign their acceptance of the GIE Refund Policy.

Dismissal from a GIE Program
Students who are dismissed for any reason by the faculty or staff from the GIE course during the on-campus or immersion portion will receive zero refund.

Other Financial Incidentals when Cancelling or Dismissed from a GIE Program
In the event that a student cancels or is dismissed from the program, the student must research and resolve any pre-paid items including but not limited to international airfare, passport application or renewal fee, visa application fees, and health insurance.
